A family's Paris loft
This home made me think of a new book I recently came across (thanks to Decor8) with the laboriously long title, "A Perfectly Kept House Is the Sign of a Misspent Life: Creative Ideas and Real-life Tips for Making Your Home Lived-in, Warm, Welcoming and One-of-A-Kind ....Worrying About Everything Being Just Right)

Relaxed and bright country style

I recently discovered the German magazine "We Love Living." I love it- from cover to cover, the photos are inspiring and filled with sunlight. The slight problem is that I can read about 4 words in German! It has hardly detracted from my enjoyment of the articles, strangely. I'm sure other readers can relate somewhat to enjoying foreign language magazines solely for the photos? The first home featured is the home of Christina and Lars Durling. I'm not sure where it is, other than it's in the country. I find it summery and cheerful! (photos by Ulrika Ekblom/ Linnea Press June 2010 we love living)
